Aioli Sauce
Dinner Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 bulbs roasted garlic
- 4 tsp salt
- 2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- 2 TB rice wine vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 TB lemon juice
- 1-2 cups rice bran oil or canola oil
- 15 basil leaves
- 10 roasted tomatoes
Directions
1. Quarter tomatoes and peel garlic. Place in a roasting pan and drizzle with olive oil. Roast at 350 degrees in the oven for 20-30 minutes or until done.
2.. Add tomatoes, garlic and the rest of the ingredients except for the oil to the food processor. Pulse until mixed well.
3. While the food processor is mixing everything, slowly add 1-2 cups oil until everything is incorporated and reaches desired consistency.
Aioli is a condiment that is very versatile. It can be used on a grilled cheese, sandwiches, pasta, or a dipping sauce for breadsticks
